Itsukushima Shinto Shrine

The location I chose was in the Setouchi region of Japan, known as Itsukushima in the Hiroshima prefecture. It is popularly known as Miyajima and it is written on the shrine.  I chose this area/region since it is known for having beautfiul architecture. I wanted to focus on the coastline and mountains. I chose the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine since it is a hotspot and has many ways to view it, whether it is in the water or dried up on the land. The shrine is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The island is a must to see for those who love arts and ranked high on must see travel destinations in 2018 and 2019. Overall, I had fun doing the shrine since it was something I had never done before. The most difficult part was doing the water and deciding on the background details. I tried about 10 ideas on a water pattern before I was satisfied.
